Handcrocheted by me from lusciously nubby silk/acrylic fine yarn, this accessory set has as many lives as there are leagues under the sea. In fact, the colors remind me of hidden treasure one might find diving in exotic waters.
Shimmering yet muted taupe punctuated with bursts of pearly sky blue create an almost antique and very definitely eclectic feel.
The brooch is no wall flower. It measures about 4 1/4 inches in diameter and is composed of 8 large graphic petals with a center that, of all things, reminds me of one of those metal spigots that grace outdoor faucets. But somehow it totally works. The crocheted flower is handsewn to a metal pin backing with safety latch.
The choker features a grid lace pattern and is about 16 3/4 inches long by 2 inches wide. It sports a hint of scalloped or picot edging which provides a nudge of frills.
Wear the choker with the pin for a one-two punch of style. Make a statement wearing just the pin. Or choose the choker, which comes with a sheer sky blue ribbon that allows the stitching to take front stage.
Handcrocheted in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Like the look but not the color? I can create a similar set in other color waves-- just convo me.
