The dress has a loose tent / tunic shape, banded v neck (on the front and back) and hidden pocket on the right side seam, at the hip.
Part of the fun of dyeing anything is the surprise of how things turn out. (Like snowflakes - or people - no two are ever exactly alike.) This came out of the bath a deep dark shade of green.
It's not a true solid, meaning it has a number of darker and lighter spots sprinkled about, which is just the nature of the process.

100% cotton
Machine wash cold w/ mild detergent, delicate cycle; line dry.
bust: 38 - 40" (approx.)
length: 41"
[Measurements are taken flat, then doubled - except for the length; for best fit, compare the measurements to a similar piece in your closet.]
No size listed. I generally wear a size 8 - 10 as far as dresses go and this fits me but could easily accommodate a larger or smaller size depending on the fit you're looking for.

There are a couple small pulls on the back of the dress but nothing too noticeable when worn.
Otherwise in great vintage condition. This will arrive washed and ready to wear.
(PS: In case you're wondering about any "side effects" from wearing a hand-dyed slip around the house, or anywhere else - the pieces go through two fairly rigorous washings during the process which helps set the dye. To date I have never had any problems with bleeding or color transfer and I have two chairs covered in white fabric in my living room.)
