This secret order of the lumberjacks axe brooch was first launced at an exhibition that I participated in several years ago and inspired my silhouette versions of this piece.
Hand carved wooden handles, this axe design is based on the Hudson Bay Axe style. The axe head is fabricated from Sterling Silver, I initially hand carved the form to get the axe head just right.
The back of the brooch has two pin stems to prevent shifting or spinning while worn.
