I then hand cut a heart and pressed it onto the clay and then the letters I and U were pressed into the wet clay. After I pulled the handle and attached it, it was fired twice to 2262 degrees Fahrenheit, in my electric kiln.
The glazes are a red and a rose pink that show off the cup and heart. I waxed the letters to show the texture of the clay.
