The other day in the middle of a snowstorm, the forlorn wisps of dry twigs caught my eye. Now bracing itself against the winter wind, the tiny bush will come back to life in spring. So delicate, this little remembrance revealed itself in this winter meditation drawing. Always spare and delicate, saying only what needs to be said....enjoy!

Pencil and white ink on Japanese paper dipped in beeswax. A vintage button and a thin line of blue gray stitching in the bottom of the cloud attach to the paper to a more sturdy sheet of handmade paper. This piece measures 7 3/4"h x 5 1/2"w and will come to you carefully packaged, ready for you to frame or display as you desire.

Thank you for browsing MissouriBendStudio...enjoy!
