Fortuny fabrics are among the most finely crafted fabrics in the world; first created by Spaniard Mariano Fortuny. Born in 1871, Fortuny moved to Venice at the turn of the century to build his reknowned reputation for creating a new standard in luxury fabric.
Mariano Fortuny was a master in perfecting the way light bounced off his fine fabrics. All Fortuny fabrics are still manufactured in the same factory that Mariano Fortuny founded, with the same special dying and textile techniques he perfected over half a century ago.
The front of the pillows is the Fortuny fabric and the back side is a natural linen, giving it a more modern, timeless look. There is an invisible zipper for easy access that also gives it a very custom, designer look. Please let me know if you would like a swatch for approval or have any other questions.
