Vintage art nouveau deco dress clip chain necklace

A handcrafted necklace incorporating three vintage and contemporary chains and a stunning vintage rhinestone (paste) art nouveau pendant – originally a dress clip. It is a one-of-a kind necklace and the vintage element is in beautiful condition. My philosophy is to try to conserve the integrity of vintage pieces as much as possible. Therefore, if I find a dress clip with its original clip in the back, I do not remove it. This allows the necklace to become an heirloom in its totality or for the deco piece to be upcycled one again in the future.

The ‘Ariel’ necklace measures 11 inches (28cm) to 13 inches (33cm) including pendant, it has an extendable chain. The pendant is 1.75 inches (4.5cm) long and 1.5 inches (4cm) at its widest.

Please note that the pendant is a vintage piece. I look for pieces that are in exceptionally good condition, but as a vintage piece, it will show appropriate wear for its age. This is part of its beautiful appeal. The necklace is attached with a lobster clasp.
