The pattern uses the following stitches – chains, single crochet, double crochet, front-& back-post double crochet (directions in pattern) and slip stitches. Size I/9 hook and 5 to 8 ounces of bulky (size 5) yarn are required.
The pattern includes instructions for making the hat in sizes Small (1-10 years); Medium (pre-teen/teen) & Large (adult).
