Okra
- Usually eaten steamed with sticky rice and chili pastes, the pods can also be eaten battered and fried. In Chinese folk medicine, okra is thought to be a good detoxifier.
This species is very easy to grow, can grow to 2 meters in height, and has large crisp fruit, up to a foot long. This species is also nice as an ornamental, having very large white, yellow and red flowers.
All of our seed is harvested from healthy plants in our garden, dried , packaged and sent by us.We made our own packaging from recycled paper. Our seed are shipped in bubble wrap envelopes to prevent seed damage during shipping.
