MerMae is not recommended for true beginners who are picking up sewing for the first time like most of my other patterns. You will need to be comfortable with your sewing machine to make her criss cross hair accents and must be comfortable making dolls to be able to turn her long slender body right side out to stuff. She is fun to make and can be made safe for little ones.
