The Wayfarer Backpack
From sketchbook
This wool backpack in combination of tan woven wool and a sophisticated plaid. It is made to be utilitarian but still have classic style. Made in the tradition of backpacks from the early 1900's, this bag will securely hold buckets of stuff in the main compartment. There are two expandable pockets in the front that are easy to access. There are even two small side pockets to fit a ipod or cell phone. The shoulder straps are adjustable for ease and comfort. Lined with durable cotton canvas. Inside the lining along the back is a thick layer of foam that is sewn in place for added comfort when carrying heavy loads. There are two closures to this bag made of heavy duty leather and sam brown buttons. Matching the closure is a heavy leather handle which is double riveted for strength. This closure is my favorite because it is easy to get in and out of but still very secure. 16" x 13" x 5"
