Welcome to my shop and my listing for a beautiful 5" OOAK Fairy. She is sculpted of professional polymer clay.
Tis the time of year where lots of snow is all around the country. I love the icy blue color theme of a fairy!
She is sculpted entirely by hand and no molds were used. She is hand painted using Genesis heat set paints.
Her hair is Tibetan lambswool in white. Adorned on her head is a snowy white crown with blue glitters.
Her outfit is hand dyed silk gauze in beautiful icy blue accented with lots of sterling silver glitter, blue glitters, some white sparkly fibers. The sterling silver glitter ages over time to a wonderful patina.
Her wings are beautiful icy blue cicada wings dusted with blue and silver glitter with little bits of white frosty snow glitter.
She sits atop a wood stump which I found in the desert. It has been stained and then varnished and secured to a wooden base. Surrounding the base is air dry clay that has been painted into white snowy mounds and then dusted with sterling silver glitters and frosty snow glitter.
A tiny Christmas tree that has been glittered with sterling silver glitter is attached to the base along with stems of swarovski crystals and silver beads.
Her sweet little fairy shoes are painted and then dusted with sterling silver glitter topped off with a iridescent sparkly crystal. Her ankles are lightly tied with pretty silver fiber ribbon.
To top off the wintry look her eyes have been lightly dusted with frosty sparkly glitters!
