I first designed her on a white board. Then transferred it to paper where many changes took place. Even as I sculpted, several changes were made. I put approximately 16 hours of time into it. She stands nearly 8.5 inches tall and is affixed to a sturdy metal base. The base I enhanced with additional gears and chain. I am really pleased with the final result. Of course, I learned a few quite a bit in the process and would change some things if I had to do it again. But quite honestly? Not planning on doing this again in the near future!
I started with her boots and worked my way up so that's how I'll describe her: her brown boots are definitely made for walking and ass-kicking. The buckles that go up each side are very tiny and I painstakingly cut and formed each one. Her skirt is brown with a brown ruffle and white ruffle underneath. Her black "leather" belt has a large gold buckle and several tiny watch gears all along it. On her black corset is the focal piece...a watch movement with jewels. It's about 1/2" in diameter and really cool looking. Her white top has black "leather" straps that attach to her neck cuff. Hanging from the cuff is a black-metallic coated chain that crosses in the front and hooks on to wires in the back. I love her earrings which are made by me attaching several super tiny gears together. Her headband is designed and engraved to look like metal and has a gear in it as well. A chain is just above the headband and dangles by her ears. Her hair is a dark brown. Each strand was hand cut and placed on the head. A steampunk hairclip is attached at the top. The cuff on her wrist is black with gold spikes and a gold face with a watch gear in it. On her back is a black clay heart with a vintage key in it (thanks Dad!). Her face is completely sculpted out of clay including her eyes (the white, the blue, the iris, the lashes and the lids). Her nose and lips are all clay. I added a bit of gloss to her lips. And yes, Lisa Rinna called and wants her lips back!
She is very delicate and certainly not a toy. But rather a conversation piece and collectible. I'm not set on the price. You can make me an offer in a convo.
