This is a reproduction of a cute little pine cone that we found in the yard. It's totally random in our set of antique bottle-shaped candles, but we love it : )

Every candle in our collection is constantly reinventing it's look as it slowly transforms into melting Salvador Dalí-like creations. They're cute - but don't be afraid to burn them ; )
Our candles are made from 100% raw beeswax and never supplemented with cheap, toxic fillers such as paraffin. (this is a biggie :) We work directly with the beekeepers, and due to the mild cleaning of this wax, the end product smells extra sweet!! Our collection (16 candles) is made up of a diverse array of shapes and sizes: medicine bottles, creams, tinctures, extracts, poison, first aid, old shear-top hand-blown inkwells, and much more.
My fascination with antique bottles started one day while I was beach combing a local tide pool here in Southern California. Amongst the hustle and bustle of hermit crabs and sea pickles, I found a very old bottle half filled with sand and soon to be buried and forgotten.
I brought the bottle home, cleaned it up, and displayed it on my counter top next to some special shells, candles, and crystals. I loved the old world look of it, and found myself collecting more and more of them at local antique markets. The collection finally tapered off at 16 bottles, (more to come) and the desire to share this unique and historical aesthetic with family and friends led me to the idea to build some replicas from the most natural and perfect molding substance around - Beeswax : )
Until now, we have only given these little treasures to friends and family as gifts, but everyone liked them so much, and friends of friends were contacting us wanting to start their own collections, so we've stepped up the process a little bit, and we're now spending lovely spans of the week hand pouring and detailing these one-of-a-kind candles. We LOVE it ! We hope these candles will find a place in your home and in your heart.

WAX FACTS:
*Beeswax is a 100% natural fuel made by honeybees.
*Beeswax has been used since the beginning of civilization. It has been found in the pharoah’s tombs, amongst sunken Viking shipwrecks and Roman ruins.
*Beeswax candles are naturally scented by the honey and nectar of flowers.
*Beeswax candles naturally emit negative ions , cleaning the air and invigorating the body.
*Beeswax is by far the healthiest wax and burns cleaner and longer than parrafin (99% of conventional candles are parifin) and soy.
-Paraffin is a byproduct of petroleum and burning paraffin candles emits toxins and carcinogens in your sweet home air. Definitely not a good idea.
-You may think that soy is a healthy alternative to paraffin but the truth is that soy has a very dirty carbon footprint. Soy is one of the most heavily sprayed crops with chemical pesticides. It’s one of the main causes of deforestation in the amazon wiping out millions of acres of rain forest and is almost always genetically modified.
