This original art doll was made with my own non-commercial pattern. She's one of a kind and made of cloth with both machine and hand stitching.
Her face is hand painted with watercolor pencils, archival ink and acrylics and has a spritz of UV resistant matte sealant for protection.
Her hair is made of mohair blend yarn in pale blond. Around her neck she wears a Valentine's day necklace strung on a golden cord.
Venise lace and pink roses accent her waist along with a pink satin heart and ceramic red heart button. More roses, vintage dangle beading and pink eyelash trim grace her tail. She's stuffed with premium polyfil.
Her moveable arms are button jointed using vintage mother of pearl fish-eye buttons. You may display this mermaid by hanging her from the cord sewn in her back or stand her in a doll stand.
She's 19" in length and signed and dated.
