This is marked a size small. I generally wear a size 8 - 10 as far as dresses go and this is quite snug on me. I'd estimate this to be closer to a small; probably comparable to a modern size 4 - 6.

In great vintage condition.
In an effort to keep it in it's "virgin" state I did not wash this so it's new owner may want to give it a cleaning before it's first outing. (Or not it seems pretty much ready to wear to me.)
