This is an original aceo oil painting on stretched canvas by me, Brenda Thour. ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals and are 2.5x3.5 inches, the size of trading cards. They make an adorable and affordable way to collect artwork. Since this is such a tiny canvas, it is glued on the sides to the stretcher bars, and the sides are painted as a continuation of the painting.
I saw this mandarin duck at the Minnesota Zoo and took his picture to paint later.
