To make this design, I used a hand-stitched maki-age shibori technique for the heart and interior of the paisley and ori-nui for the paisley outline. This shirt got its first bath in a rosy maroon. Then I unbound only the paisley interior and gave it another bath in fuchsia. Perfect for Valentine's Day (or any day).
