Two lovely table mats which can be used as individual place settings or centered like small table runner. They are 13.5 x 16.5 inches. Each is constructed of linen fabric in darkest gray/black and natural with waves in many shades of blue. The wave design was inspired by the famous tsunami woodcut by Hokusai and the technique was inspired by the sashiko style of embroidery but I have made them my own. The back of the mat is the dark grey linen and there is a layer of cotton batting.
