Is it a bangle? Yes, in that it doesn't have a clasp. No, in that it isn't hard. The best of both worlds.
Is it peyote? Yes. And no. What I love best about this piece is its amazing texture. I used my great love, the peyote stitch, to weave it, but I added an extra step (and half as many beads again) and the result is something more than peyote. I'm calling it my "thermal weave." Look at the surface texture and then look at your favorite thermal knit shirt. Ah, now you get it. ;)
And just like your favorite thermal knit, this piece is comfortable to slip on and wear. But then the similarities stop because, so very unlike your favorite thermal knit, this is elegant beyond measure.
While this bangle is a little heavier than most of my pieces, it still won't get in the way of your computer work, your dinner, your shopping, your dancing. Both color and design will let you wear this with anything from your Sunday brunch outfit, to your business suit, to that wonderful little black dress you reserve for special evenings.
This bangle bracelet is crafted in my thermal weave variation on peyote stitch using Japanese Miyuki delica beads in opaque black and 24 kt. gold-plate. It is 1.1" wide and will be custom made to fit you (see sizing below).
SIZING
This piece will be custom made for you. Please measure your hand at its widest point when its held the way you would to slip a bangle over it. Let me have that measurement in the Notes to Seller.
SHIPPING
This bracelet will be shipped in an elegant gift box using First Class Mail with delivery confirmation. You can upgrade to Priority Mail for $3 by leaving a request in the "Message to Seller" box of the purchase order; wait for an amended invoice.
