It measures approximately:

This box is slip cast ceramic from a mold. It is cleaned to remove blemishes and fired to create a solid piece. The inside is then coated with multiple applications of black underglaze. I then write the inspirational word and create the scroll work on the lid. The piece is then glazed clear and refired to get the shiny finish. I do not use decals, the piece is completely hand decorated.
Everyone needs to be inspired and reminded why they are loved. I see this item as a pick-me-up for a mother, wife, sister, daughter, niece or friend; anyone who inspires you. It may be given simply as is, fill it with their favorite candy, or slip in a piece of jewelry.
