A gentle band of elastic hidden at the ankle ensures they stay on even the busiest baby, yet are very easy to put on. For sizes 0-6 months I use matching fleece on the sole, but for sizes 6 months and larger I use a faux leather sole for traction and a little weather proofing.
Fully machine washable. Just throw them in with the rest of the baby laundry.
