Amelia is knit from a super-soft, lightly wispy, yarn that is 50% acrylic, 22% wool, 28% nylon. Her face is knit from 100% acrylic yarn. She's stuffed with 100% polyester fill and is completely hand washable, but asks you to be gentle if you need to bathe her.
Amelia measures 12 1/2" tall, (31.8cm) from the bottom of her hooves to the top of her furry head. Her eyes, nose, and mouth have been hand-embroidered, eliminating a chance of choking on any small parts. Her limbs appear loose & rather dangly but in fact, they would be close to impossible to remove, as one arm is sewn through the body to the other arm, back and forth again, several times as well as attached to the body itself. The legs are attached in the same way. The "dangly" appearance is part of the design and makes the lamb all the more loveable & huggable~ and she comes with her very own handknit, spring dress, hand embroidered with a pretty, navy-blue flower on the front! As with the other lambs I've made, creating Amelia, though difficult, was a lot of fun.I am always so curious to watch their personalities develop that once I start working on one, it's difficult to put down~ and that can be a problem considering they take a full four-five days to make! I can tell you that Amelia is very good natured~ always happy, quiet until she knows you, and sooooo soft to hug!! Her "coat" feels like angora! Because her fur is soft and similar to angora, you will want to touch & pet her often, making her prone to "bad hair days"~ Feel free to pet her as much as you'd like to. Her fur is easily restored simply by gently stroking it with the palm of your hand in the direction you want it to lie down.
Amelia~ made with love~ guaranteed 100% to love you back!
*Not recommended for children under 5 yrs.old. This lamb is not intended for rough play. She is very sturdily made, and will last many many years if given love & played with in a gentle way. She looks adorable in a little girl's room, lying on the bed or sitting on a shelf
***May be washed gently by hand, swishing in lukewarm water & soap, then laid out to air dry
