In general you will need:
Various colours of double knitting (dk) weight yarn. This is equivalent to light worsted, although worsted weight should work just fine, as long as you use the same weight of yarn throughout.
Stuffing.
Safety eyes (mostly 7.5mm and 9mm).
Tapestry needle.
3.5mm hook (US E hook).
Finished sizes:
These range from Yoda at 2.5" tall, to Chewbacca at 4.5" tall, although the height will vary depending on the yarn you use.
