This pattern features an adorable octopus of my own design. It works up in about 2 or 4 hours and stands 8-9 inches tall including tentacles. It only uses one ball of Lily Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn and a G hook. I use 15mm safety eyes, but smaller, bigger, or even felted eyes would look cute too!

This pattern is great for beginners but requires basic crochet skills. You should be familiar with:
-crocheting in round
-single crochet
-increasing single crochet stitch
-decreasing single crochet stitch
-double crochet stitch
-chain stitch

It may be a little fuzzy when you get to the tentacles, so if you don't understand something please feel free to message me!

I wish this was a little more of a detailed pattern but my little guy is so cute! I sized up the yarn which made the eyes a little funky but I was able to fix this by adding a drawstring around the edges of the sockets.
