This beautiful piece, named "Hydromedusae" is named after a freshwater species of jelly fish. The scallop shell forms the body. The wire wrapped bezel forms the waves of the water. The lemon citrine represents the freshwater/ marsh area near the ocean. Hanging from the shell are sterling silver chains forming the tentacles and the gemstones (lemon citrine and freshwater pearl briolettes form the oral arms.
Approx. 16 1/2" inches long with a hammered sterling silver clasp.
