This is a DIY love journal. It has 11 pages + 2 cover pages (a front and a back) for 13 journaling pages total. It also comes with an instruction sheet that is good for lots of ideas! The possibilities for this journal are endless. I made the sample journal from mother to daughter. It would work well from any parent to child as a special keepsake or gift for Valentine’s day or birthday! This could also be from a girlfriend to boyfriend, or husband to wife. I think this journal would make the MOST special wedding day gift for a bride or groom! You can also pick the page you like most and frame it as a constant reminder of the love that lives in your home.

This is a downloadable PDF that will be emailed to you. You can print all of the pages, or one at a time. You can use plain white cardstock, or for more texture, use watercolor paper. I used cream cardstock because I love the look of Crayola crayons on cream! For the covers, I used a pattern scrap booking paper. You can use markers, crayons, paints, colored pencils… the possibilities are endless which makes this journal even more your very own creation of love.

When you are done, you can bind the book together with thread, binder rings, brads, a report folder, a binder clip, or even a paperclip. Or you can leave it loose leaf to be added to at a later date. There is no end to how many ways you can make this journal work.

I was inspired by Valentine’s day to create this for my kids as a gift… but have been lucky enough to have had both my girls ask if they could make one for me as well! Use your template over and over again to create beautiful keepsakes!
