This slip has a slim sexy shape, thin adjustable straps, thin strip of scalloped lace trim across the top of the back, medium sized band of sheer scalloped floral lace around the circumference of the hem and wide bands of sheer scalloped floral lace at the bust, accented by a dainty satin-y sewn on bow.
Part of the fun of dyeing anything is the surprise of how things turn out. (Like snowflakes - or people - no two are ever exactly alike.) This came out of the bath a deep inky black.
It's not a true solid, meaning it has some darker and lighter spots sprinkled about, which is just the nature of the process.

This is marked a size 36. In terms of this type of lingerie I usually base fit on a woman's bra size. I wear a size 36 bra and this is snug on me; I'd say it's best for a 34" bust. Slips like these are somewhat forgiving though and can still look fabulous worn a little loose or a little tight - it really depends on how you plan to style and wear it.

(PS: In case you're wondering about any "side effects" from wearing a hand-dyed slip around the house, or anywhere else - the pieces go through two fairly rigorous washings during the process which helps set the dye. To date I have never had any problems with bleeding or color transfer and I have two chairs covered in white fabric in my living room.)
