Description:
The items shown here are cruelty free peacock feather eyes. It is a craft item popularly used for hats, headbands, headdresses and hair clips. These beautiful feathers are ideal for adding a splash of color to wedding center pieces, floral arrangements, bouquets, costumes and masks. They are also a wonderful bit of color for boutonnieres. DIY crafters can add their own touch of style by stitching, heat bonding or gluing this item onto their project.
These feathers are cruelty free - meaning they have been gathered from naturally shed feathers instead of being plucked from the peacock. When peacocks molt, they start to drop their beautiful eye tail feathers as well as sword feathers. Peacocks naturally shed very few feathers (2 - 10 a day) and we only import from farms that raise healthy free-range peacocks. You will find that the humanitarian gathering methods are worth the extra cost of such feathers.
