I don't know who spoke these words, but I do know these empowering words speak to me!
This print was created using antique wood type and red ink. The medium weight paper is acid-free and measures 11” x 17”. Each piece of type is hand-set in my mid 20th century printing press and inked with a brayer. Then each sheet of paper is pulled through the press, one at a time, to create a perfectly imperfect print.
Each print varies due to the nature of the letterpress process. Ink impression on the piece you receive may differ slightly from the picture, but each is unique and beautiful.
Please note, the frame is NOT included in this listing.
This piece was printed on my Showcard Model B press. Each print is signed on the back.
