NATURE was a popular science magazine published in Baltimore by the American Nature Association, beginning in 1923. In 1926 they went from an unchanging design (mostly abstract with small illustrations of scenes from Nature) to photographs and then to painted covers. In the next eight years they ran some beautiful covers, but by 1934 had dumped the expensive color covers in favor of a text listing of the contents of the issue. This magazine should not be confused with the British science magazine of the same name, still currently being published.
This is Volume 34 Number 8 October 1941 of Nature. The cover shows wear, but the inside pages are in great condition. The ads are very interesting as well as the articles. This magazine was published to stimulate public interest in every phase of nature and the out of doors and was devoted to the practical conservation of the great natural resources of America.
