My three daughters and I have a girl bonding ritual - we LOVE doing facial masks together - so much so, I came up with our own homemade recipe. I know you will love it too.
Kaolin clay is the mildest of all clays and is appropriate for people with sensitive skin. It gently exfoliates and cleanses the skin. Regular use of clay facials removes dead skin cells, removes debris from the pores and brings about a smooth healthy glow.
Did you know that regular use of clay facials removes dead skin cells, removes debris from the pores and brings about a smooth healthy glow? Yup. I use mine 1 to 2 times each week.
Contains: Kaolin Clay, Organic Yarrow (Achillea Millefolium), and Organic Oatmeal (Avena Sativa Kernel). Net wt. 2 oz (56g).
Certified Vegan & Cruelty-Free.
To use: Spoon 1/2 tablespoon mask into clean non-metalic bowl (or the palm of your hand). Mix with 1/2 tablespoon liquid of your choice until creamy paste forms, adding more liquid as necessary. I highly recommend using witch hazel, but you could also use water, flower water, aloe gel, or olive oil. Do not add liquid to the jar. (I like to mix my mask with witch hazel to the right consistency paste. I just put a tablespoon of mask in the palm of my hand and create a little well in the middle, then I pour witch hazel into the well and stir with a finger until it is just right adding more witch hazel if necessary). Spread over face using a circular motion, avoiding eye area, sit for ten minutes, then rinse with warm water in cupped hands - avoid scrubbing and washcloths. Some follow a mask with a moisturizer, but my favorite follow up is witch hazel - I dab a cotton ball with witch hazel and use it as a toner - it's an excellent toner and moisturizer all in one! Your results may be different, but do what works best for you.
What is witch hazel? Witch Hazel is a woody herb and preparations made from it are used as astringents which tighten and firm sagging tissue. It corrects both dry and oily skin. It cleans, soothes, and moisturizes.. You can usually pickup an 8oz bottle of witch hazel for around $3 at most large chain pharmacies.
*Use yarrow with caution if you are allergic to ragweed. Use is not recommended while pregnant.
Listing is for one 2oz (56g) jar. Please contact me for greater quantities.
