This vest is a one-of-a-kind creation of fiber art piece made of the blend of gorgeous shiny mulberry silk and extrasoft merino wool by wetfelting technique. It might be a favorite wear to anyone a little bit extravagant, pixie like, fairy believer, or someone supersexy or hippie style lover. It can be also wear in formal occassion as well as outdoor walk and fun. It can be a nice wear on your jacket too.
I used 16 microns soft extrafine wool hand dyed by me, it is just so soft and no way it would be itchy. I also hand carded the wool and the mulberry silk fibers together.
The main side of the vest is actually an art picture of fairy town with small funny houses, windows and doors, and of course the sunny blue sky!
I used all colours of a fairy tale, turquoise, green, orange, yellow, purple, green, apple green, pink, rusty, and what ever you can imagine. I hand carded the di fferent colours to mix silly colours, just as a painter would do when making the watercolour. I also needle felted wool yarns to the edges of the houses, windows and doors. At the bottom I put a piece of orange silk saree piece.
I attach a beautiful bird brooch to make you easier to play with the variation of closing it.
I put loads of attention to every details and put loads of time to create it but I think it was worth it!:))))
You can handwash it in warm water.
Measures: 22,4 inches (58 cm) in length. The vest piece is 39,4 inches (100 cm) wide at the breast and at the hip.
