This is an acrylic painting rendered on illustration board. The illustration board is Crescent Illustration Board, cold press, medium weight. The painting measures approximately 8X10 inches. The painting was painted with matte acrylics, in a very liberal style, so the paint goes all the way across the surface of the board and may continue down the edges in some areas. The painted surface will not be completely smooth. The paint was applied very liberally, and the paint is pooled in some areas which creates texture. The finished painting has been sealed with a gloss clear coat of non-yellowing varnish. The painting is signed “Sarah Knight” in black ink in the lower right-hand corner.
