A cool hand carved wooden walking stick...from Strba ~ a village in the Poprad District, Prešov Region, northern Slovakia. Situated in the Sub-Tatra Basin, which separates the High Tatras and Low Tatras at the European continental divide between the Baltic and the Black Sea, it is approximately 10 mi. west of the city of Poprad ~

Metal plaques are attached down the cane celebrating the various areas in the region
..the first one being Strbske Pleso....

Measures almost 36" tall...

In good condition...I have put a newer tip on the end....from the late 1800's.
