This wedding ensemble was worn in 1959 by Miss Patty at Saint Mary's Cathedral in Portland, Oregon where my own Mother still attends mass. Originally Miss Patty's daughter-in-law brought me a few items including her corset. She told me that Miss Patty was on Romper Room here in Portland in the late 1950s. Months later Debbie brought in Miss Patty's wedding dress and cotton hoop skirt. All three pieces are included in this listing. Along with the photo Miss Patty herself brought me when Debbie brought her into my Vintage Emporium to see where her dress ended up. Shortly thereafter, she even sent me a cheery post card.

Measurements
I do not pin clothing on models, but prefer instead to show you my garments on people they actually fit. Tara's measurements at the time of this shoot were 33-24-35 and she stands 5'4" tall.
-Bust: 34"
-Waist: 24"
-Hip: Full
-Shoulder to waist: 14"
-Length from waist to hem: 32"
-Skirt sweep: 208"
This dress has very narrow seam allowances and cannot be altered to a larger size.
Condition
Very good vintage condition rating a 7 out of 10. There is a small section of the top layer of tulle that has pulled away from where the zipper is stitched in. There is also a small tear in the skirt. Neither is visible while wearing. The hoop skirt has a couple of small tears near the elastic waist.
