This is a rather eclectic pillow cover pattern, mixing styles from different European countries (Eastern Europe, The Netherlands adn the Scandinavian region). I am really happy with its folklore aesthetic and its strict symmetry.
Although I designed it as a cross-stitch pillow cover, I’m very curious to see what this would look like on a large woven carpet.
The pattern measures 223 by 223 stitches – embroidered on 32-count linen it would measure 14 by 14 inches (37 by 37cm).
