My Beastie decorations are made from old flattened corrugated iron, which used to be on the top of our chicken-house. The chooks have a lovely new coop, so I cut these animals out with tin-snips, file the edges, and add a ribbon for hanging.
This Crabby Beastie has remnants of pale green paint on one side, and is plain old tin on the other. He also has naff little red tips to his claws - a happy accident because the tin I cut my Beasties from has red and green stripes! He has a silver ribbon for hanging, and measures about 10.5cm x 12.5cm (4.15in x 5in).
