I make these pins using traditional lampwork beadmaking techniques. I start by flattening one end of a length of wire, giving the glass something to hang on to. I melt the glass directly on to this "nub", then I shape and decorate the glass head using modified lampworking techniques. The pins are then annealed in a digitally controlled kiln. Finally, they are tumbled in steel shot to polish the wire.
Please send me a convo or an email if you have any questions or requests, or if you would like a different number of headpins.
