Four Little Bunnies! Hardcover, published in 1935 by Rand McNally and Co and written & photographed by famous photographer Harry Whittier Frees! Without any tricks of the camera, just patience and a sense of humor, Harry Whittier Frees took photos of bunnies dressed in human clothes living in an anthropomorphic world, running errands and enjoying Sunday outings.
The book has two notes in the beginning, the first is a dedication: "Dedicated to all the little bunnies who posed for the pictures in this book" and underneath that: "Note: These unusual photographs of real bunnies were made possible only by the patient and unfailing kindness on the part of the photographer at all times."
This book is in decent condition, not perfect! It has been read and loved by a child in the past, the front page has dedication that says "From Mother to Mary Ann" and on the cover someone used pencil to write the letter "B." There is a decent tear at the top of the book that runs many pages, please look at the photo, and some water stains. The biggest issue is the back cover that is held together with decades old, clear tape- please see photos.
It's a wonderful book, full of charming pictures and a touching story about a bunny family! Perfect for children or collectors!
Thanks for looking!
