Jenny is needle felted. Needle felting is sculpting fluffy wool with a special barbed needle that felts the wool together. Hundreds of needle pokes go into each area of an animal.
Many hours and much love go into each creation.
I use a wire frame inside of my sculptures so there are durable and able to pose.
I used a special method to apply the fibers to small areas little by little all over Jenny's body. This fiber blend was then brushed, trimmed. and groomed in the cut typical of the breed.
I love using luxury fibers such as down, mohair, llama, angora, silk and the alpaca that I used on this horse is very soft. These are gourmet fibers, thus name gourmet felted or gfelted for short.

Jenny comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by me, with photo and description of sculpture.
Jenny was made in a non-smoking studio with no pets. She is a collector's wool sculpture, not a toy. She is made to last and become a beautiful family heirloom.
I love animals.
This creates an artistic desire to reflect their beauty, charm, and personality. I've tried to do this with Jenny.
Many hours and much love went into sculpting this precious horse.
