Please give me the coordinates in the "Degrees, Minutes & Seconds" format. For example, <N48 51 30, E02 18 01> or <N40 45 39, W73 58 38>. I've listed a couple of suggestions below on how to get this information.
Spec:
- the pendant measures 7/8" in diameter.
- the bottom disc is Sterling Silver and the stamped disc is Copper.
- it comes on an 18" 3mm Rubber Cord with a Sterling Clasp or an 18" Sterling Ball Chain. Please let me know your preference during checkout.
- this is a custom, made-to-order piece, and will take 10-14 days to ship.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE PLACING ORDER!!!
Making sure you get the correct coordinates is a little time consuming. I've provided here a couple of ways I've found to be pretty accurate as a convenience, although I cannot guarantee the results. I can only stamp the information you give me and I can't accept a return due to a mistake on your part!!! There is a 30% restocking fee in the case of a return on all custom items.
The easiest way to find the coordinates of an address is through Google Earth. Once you put in your address, look to the bottom of the screen and get the set of numbers between the date and the elevation. It'll look slightly different from the format I'm asking for, but copy it exactly and that can easily be converted to the format I need. It is important to keep the mouse pointing at the spot you want - the coordinates change along with where your mouse is pointing.
Here's another way of finding the coordinate you want. Go to: <http://stevemorse.org/jcal/latlon.php> and enter the address. Once you click the "Determine Lat/Long" button, you'll get a few sets of results. Leave that page open, and open another page to this website: <http://boulter.com/gps/>. Go back to the result from the first page, copy the decimal latitude and longitude from Google and paste it onto the second page. Click "Convert and Map" on the second webpage, and give me the "Degrees, Minutes & Seconds" set of numbers.
Excuse the confusion but those are the two ways I've found to be the most accurate. I was told that some GPS's give you this info; I don't have one of those fancy things so I don't know this from experience, but you are more than welcome to give that a try. =)
