vintage BLACKLETTER 1930s locket

A lovely initial locket from the Bliss Brothers Company. The Circular locket is a little larger than a quarter and has a warm patina. The verso is plain but the front face is engraved with the initials "M.S." in blackletter gothic script. The locket hinges open from the bottom to an empty interior. There are no bezels or inserts. The locket closes with a tight snap. There is some tarnish to the interior but the low carat gold plate on the exterior is in wonderful condition and the locket really glows. I've added a 14K gold fill chain.
