This unique handknitted neckwarmer was inspired by the yarn it is made of. I bought "The Essence of Victorian Parlor", a lush handspun hand dyed dark plum, cherry and raspberry Merino and black alpaca fleece from http://www.etsy.com/shop/HookLineAndStitches on Etsy, and drinking in those colours, which recall drawing rooms, rich drapes, heavy velvet garments and knitted lace, I just had to knit something Victorian.

Victoriana features a Victorian lace pattern and is tied around the neck with a black lace ribbon that is woven through the knitted lace, and can easily be changed. I left the ribbon long so it can be adjusted/cut to taste.

This one of a kind soft neckwarmer would look stunning with a long black dress, silk shirt or velvet jacket, but can also be worn with many other outfits. A steampunk watch would go really well with it, too!

I handknitted this dainly neckwarmer in my smoke and pet free Belfast home.

Victoriana fits a neck circumference up to 16" (41cm).

Please hand wash carefully with a mild detergent in cool water and dry flat, if possible.
