A sweet touch for dessert for two.
Vintage silver plated forks by Community Plate a manufacturer often prized by collectors in the Grosvenor pattern that was introduced in 1921. Actual age is unknown. Each fork has been hand stamped love in a slight script lettering. Salad/dessert size forks about 6" tall
I thought these were so pretty but the design at the base of the tines didn't leave much room to stamp. The tines were wide and flat enough so I thought I try out my newer smaller letter set to see if it might fit.
PLEASE review complete listing and photos carefully.
These forks were absolutely loved in their former life and show it. I would also like to point out this pattern usually has some shine these do not, so it's possible they were washed with one of those scrubbers or something. I love their time worn elegance and I'm happy to have figured out something for them. If you appreciate that too these may be right for you otherwise, they are not.

These are vintage to antique pieces evidence of pitting due to previous wear or age and marks made during the hammering process are expected all which add to their whimsical and charming look. Silver plate varies in tint, thickness, patina, finish, etc. Coloring of the words will wear off with use. Depth of impression, alignment and spacing may differ with each letter. No two are exactly alike.
