People have been asking me to donate my earrings for fundraisers for Cancer and Leukemia, so I did. My shop has been doing so well that I decided to take it a step further.
From now on, I will use 20% of your purchase to help alleviate global poverty through www.KIVA.org. Honestly, making beautiful earrings never felt so good, and wearing them will feel good too!
Here's the story:
OK, so I made wood earrings as a gift for my wife, and everyone started complimenting her and asking where she got them. So I decided to start an Etsy shop and make more custom designs. After lots of sketching, designing, prototyping, wearing, testing, and more testing, here they are. These designs are the first of their kind, and I have worked long hours to make them perfect little works of art. There's nothing like them.
They are designed and made and packaged by me in my little closet-turned-office in San Francisco, CA.
These are made of durable Mahogany hardwood, and are very light AND strong. Their detail is very precise and exact, but with a natural, organic edge and warm earthtones. I hand-polished them using an all natural linseed oil to bring out the beauty in the wood and provide a protective, long lasting finish.
They are double-sided, so they look great from the front or the back.
They come with handmade, high quality 24k gold plated earhooks made by ETSY artist TurnbridgeWells!
You can also pick a sweet customized gift note. I also made a "You are Beautiful" gift box for them with an awesome Dr. Seuss quote on the back!
I try to keep these affordable...really I just love to design and make things for people.
Get them before they are gone. I only made a limited series.
