❀LACE MOTIFS❀
The earrings feature my signature handcrafted lace motifs. I created the intricate, oval pendants entirely by hand, using the finest of real silver threads--like those used in the decadently embroidered textiles of the Rococo period--and the tiniest of crochet hooks. On a netted base, I've stitched a collage of large sparkling vintage rhinestones, AA grade iridescent rainbow moonstone briolettes and vintage seed beads. Dozens of tiny white freshwater pearls edge the lace motifs, each one meticulously stitched by hand. A delicate lace pattern reminiscent of feathers completes the outer edges of the design.
The lace motifs are topped with tiny, three-petalled flowers accented with white pearls and vintage rhinestones. The backs of the earrings are finished off with small rosettes and a tiny freshwater pearls.
❀DROPS❀
Iridescent AA grade rainbow moonstone briolettes are suspended beneath the lace motifs. They are topped with handmade lace bead caps and AAA grade quartz crystal briolettes. The rainbow moonstones are slightly opaque and have subtle flashes of blues and lavenders.
❀FINDINGS❀
The lace motifs are attached to high quality, sterling silver posts adorned with faceted cubic zirconia. All other findings are sterling silver.

❀THREAD❀
My designs feature real metal threads. Not to be confused with the synthetic, metallic fibers on the market, or metal wire, they are composed of a core of thread tightly wrapped in a thin sheet of .90 silver or 24k gold over a layer of silver-plated metal. Used for centuries and reaching their zenith of popularity in the textiles of the Renaissance and Rococo eras, metal threads combine the softness of fiber with the sheen and richness of gold and silver.
