A round MDF frame is covered with hundreds of end-cut basswood branches that range in size from 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter all the way down to 1/16 of an inch! This popular style of frame is extremely intricate and time consuming to create. Each branch is carefully selected for size, cut by hand, sanded, then individually glued to the frame beneath. Three coats of satin polyurethane enhance and protect the finished piece.
The frame measures 17 inches in diameter, the mirror is 10 inches in diameter, and there's a wire on the back for hanging.
