I created these Medicine Bundles for the new year, for the birth of healing and new ways. Place one on your altar, carry it in your vehicle, or anywhere you seek the change and consciousness it represents. Think of it as a beginner's bundle-open it when you have something to add to it and make it more personal, or place it among kindred teachers on a table.

**The medicine of this bundle is about waking up and paying attention to the signs being shown to you. It is a solemn call to develop the intuition and step into the power of your own wisdom. The bundle measures 3.5" x 3.5".
It contains:
*a pinch of organic tobacco, a traditional offering to the Spirits.
*a large lump of sodalite forms the base in this spirited bundle. sodalite opens the pathway for information to pass from the higher realms down into the consciousness. it feels most at home in the position of the third eye, seeking truth from withing and enabling decision making to come from one's own intuition. sodalite brings understanding of what higher workings are taking place, and trust in the answers that come from within. it is a powerful stone when the time has arrived in one's life to leave behind what others think of you. it's calming effect allows for smooth communication and lack of judgment. it is a valuable ally when working with meditation and the shamanic journey.
*angelica, also known as archangelica and masterwort, was chosen for this powerful bundle because of her healing reputation with the 6th and 7th chakras. for anyone out of touch with their spiritual practice, angelica inspires the seer to step forward into the light. associated with st. michael, angelica cleanses and removes obstacles that would keep one from accessing the intuitive sense, or sixth sense-the one that suffers the results of bombardment of western civilization and media overload. the tube-like stalk of angelica was used as a magician's staff in Eurasian shamanism and represents a passageway from one realm to the next.
*Hawk medicine is powerful, initiatory, and transformational. this winged sorcerer is known for his vision and connection to the upper world. his broad vision commands that attention to the truth be paid. the application here is to call upon Hawk, the great and trusted Messenger, to fly to the higher realms and retrieve information and bring it in through the portal of intuition located at the third eye point. Hawk is intuitive wisdom, soaring to heights that can only be reached through the protected gateway beyond the mind, and which connects us to Spirit.
Each bundle has been hand-assembled on red flannel, bundled and tied in deerskin, beaded to bind the medicine, and smudged with white sage in the traditions of the ancestors.
