A few years ago, I happened on a magazine article about folding books to decorate your home. From those few simple instructions, I started folding my own books. Those early designs made me wonder how to get other shapes and patterns into folded books.

I began experimenting. Over the course of several months and several books, I learned how to create shapes and patterns in books. Using one of the most abundant of materials (used books), I was able to make beautiful works of art in just a few hours.

Included in this 26-page tutorial are patterns, templates and full step-by-step instructions in easy-to-read text, with clear photographs to guide you through the techniques. It covers lines, arches, circles and simple shapes. Patterns are included for 12 designs, all completely doable by the beginning to expert paper artist.
